I got to sit down with Steve and Sheila from the Monorail Tales Podcast to share my Disney story. I'm so grateful they took an interest in my journey and reached out. It was such a fun walk down memory lane.
We talked about how I learned about the Disney College Program way back in 2001 and the process of applying, getting accepted and moving to Florida. Some topics we touch on are: - what Traditions was like - how I found out my roles (I had 2!) and work locations - which role I liked best - what celebrity I helped - being on an opening team for a new location
From here we talk about my transition into being a regular full and part time Cast Member and my new work locations. Then, we dive into my very treasured Disney Professional Internship as an Education Presenter at Disney's Animal Kingdom an all the duties that entailed.
Finally, Steve, Sheila and I talk Disney podcasting, why I started, what I hope to do in the future and of course, they hit me with the hard questions to learn all about my Disney favorites! I truly am so grateful to the Monorail Tales crew and particularly Steve and Sheila for reaching out and being so supportive and encouraging me not to hold back in my search for guests and unique discussions. Just a few episodes in and I am already feeling more confident about the journey ahead. It's true what they say, Disney friends are the best friends!
